2012 SHOW HOURS ARE SATURDAY 9AM - 9PM & SUNDAY 9AM - 5PM

MUSCLE CAR AND CORVETTE NATIONALS WILL FEATURE

BIG NICKEY CHICAGO and MR. NORMS Special Displays:

Relive the glory days of the Muscle Car wars with a historical display of the very best cars from Nickey Chicago and Mr. Norm. These displays once again will face off with only real documented Nickey and Mr. Norms cars from both of these Chicago Icons. You will also be able to meet current and past staff members, including Don Swiatek, Hi-Performance Cars and Parts Manager for Nickey and Mr. Norm Kraus, owner of Grand Spaulding Dodge.

2012 SPECIAL INVITATIONAL DISPLAYS:

Class of 1972 40th
Anniversary Display
Featuring the absolute  “Top Dog”  Muscle Cars from various manufacturers for the 1972 model year. For 2012, we will feature TWO circles; one with hardtops and one with convertibles AND several additional special displays. You will be treated to some of the country's rarest and most desirable Muscle Machines which are coming in from prominent collections nationwide, many rarely shown to the public and the absolute rarest from GM, Ford, AMC and Mopar.

Class of '62 50th Anniversary Display:

This time we step back FIFTY years, when the concept of racing on Sunday and driving to work on Monday began. The Super Stock wars were fully under way and the Big Three were all doing battle at tracks across the country. Royal Pontiac, The Ramchargers and more were recognized nationwide. Check out a fine selection of big-body performance offerings from Pontiac, Chevy, Ford and the Mopar camp along with several significant Corvettes in this very special Invitational gathering.

 Aero Warriors Invitational Display

Inspired by the Nascar Aero wars, these ultra streamlined cars took factory backed racing to another level. Dodge started with the aero-back/flush grill Charger 500 and then went a step beyond with the wild winged Daytona and then the Superbird, while Ford jumped right in with the flush grill/extended nose Talledega's and the Mercury Cyclone Spoilers. It is a treat to see just one of these Aero Warriors, but for 2012, you will be able to see what may be the largest gathering ever assembled under one roof.

Trans Am Terrors

When Chevrolet entered the Trans Am wars in 1967 with their all new Z/28, the whole world took notice. In 1969 Pontiac took ownership of the actual Trans Am name, and produced the very first Limited Edition Pontiac Trans Ams, inspired by the race series, producing a mere 697 units. When Chrysler brought out their all new E-body Barracuda's and Challenger's it was clear what had to happen next. The Challenger T/A's and AAR Cuda's were purpose built, multi carb small block pony cars that had many unique features. We are thrilled to host a gathering of some of the finest examples of these Trans am inspired automobiles ever shown.

The "Bee Hive" , Presented by The Wellborn Muscle Car Museum

The Mopar crew started with a simple plan back in 1968; build a bare-bones rubber mat post body car, throw in a standard large cube engine backed by a 4-speed with a Hurst shifter and wha-la; instant affordable muscle. This special gathering will chronicle the 1968-70 Coronet Super Bee's AND the single year 1971 Charger Super Bee's, with engines ranging from the 383 right on up to the mighty Hemi.

"Going Topless" Invitational Showcase

Featuring "top dawg" Convertible Muscle Cars from 1964 to 1971. You will see Hemi's, 440+6, 427, 429, CJ's, SCJ's Tripowers and more! The rarest of the rare convertibles will be invited and displayed in this showcase. Several very significant convertibles will be unveiled at our show this year!

Shelby Snakepit IV:
Back by popular demand, this special feature returns again in 2012 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Shelby American and the Shelby Cobra, The Shelby Snakepit will return with a whole new crop of Shelby's finest documented authentic creations from 1965-1970, featuring some of the rarest and most significant Shelby Cobra's and Mustangs ever built. Entrants range from 1953-2003.

sYc Supercars and Members Showcase:
A very special gathering of authentic dealer-built Supercars from Yenko, Gibb and others. Presented by www.Yenko.net. Absolutely no “clones” or “tributes” here!

Muscle Cars & Muscle Bikes

For many of us, it was bicycles that started the fever. A revolution began in California in June of 1963 with the introduction of the very first Schwinn Stingray, and one by one, kids everywhere jumped on the bandwagon. 1968 brought the introduction of the Schwinn Krate bikes, along with the Raleigh Choppers out of England, and bike companies everywhere started producing "Muscle bikes", inspired by Drag Racers and the hot cars of the era. Join us in celebrating these cool bikes, which in some cases, will be paired with the cars that inspired them.
